New tires coming soon for the sweet Lotus Gran Prix Gurney type cars
and their Ferrari GTO 250. Along with Carrera Concept Camaro S/S car
among others!
Now the bad news. I have to discountinue my
discounts. I've gotten hit with a product price increase that really
takes a bite out of what little profit I make now.
So
instead of raising tire prices I decided to drop the discounts. I've
held my product prices for over 5 years now and I'm fighting to keep
them as they are now.
Stores that sell my product will still have their vendor pricing but free shipping will be dropped on new orders.
I will still give free insured shipping on orders over $100.00 in the US to consumer buyers.

First off our prayers go out the those who are suffering great loss from our brothers in the US and those in Japan.
I am releasing the 41 Willys coupe body kit. This is a refined body and
looks great. The body has been squared as the original body, love those
two piece 60's Monogram bodies, was off a few hundreths.
Refreshing many molds, the new Strombecker Testa Rossa windshields are beautiful!
Molds are slow getting redone as I am making the plugs as nice as I can
and since this is all hand work it takes some time to get 'em right.
Same with new tires.
Back to work!
Have a great summer!

Things are coming along. I lost a family member this week, one of my
pets Buzzy, a Chiuauha that I've had for 11 years. I know some
don't become attached to their pets but since I don't have any kids
these guys are my family.
Motorific passenger car tires have
had a set back. Seems when the mold is brought up to temperature it
shifts and cause the tires to loose it's center. I'm working on this as
fast a I can to get the molds working correctly.
Note: Motorific Passenger car tires are excluded from any discount. These are difficult to make and take just as much time to "unload" the mold as do the larger tires.
Please be aware that the post office has raised prices. All the prices
that did not need congressional approval are up. That means
Priority Mail costs.
I am currently making Carrera COT tires,
these are beautiful and grip like heck. Along with the Carreras I also
am making SCX NASCAR rear tires, these too are an excellent tire.
I hope to get stuff posted this weekend. I have a few more tires to list too.
Thanks to all!

Due
to an unexpected surgery in late October I'm behind, always the same
poop, again. I'm still getting parts made to send off to the chromer.
Looks like early January now. I'm slowly catching up with the other
releases that were scheduled for November/Dec.
Sorry, I now it's been almost a year since the last batch was supposed to be done.

What
a summer! Sales never slowed as in years past! Great! Although very
little time was left for development. And the heat was unbearable in
the workshop! A few days were 120 degrees! So very little extra work
got done.
I have a bunch of new tire releases coming out soon. The prototypes are done and the tires are great.
Tires coming out will be for the Monogram M6A, the rears are too short and the rims are usually bent on this model.
Scalextric "Dunlop" for mid sixties cars.
At last, tires for the Carrera GTO and Super Stockers.
Republic "drag race" 1/43 (although sold as 1/32) rear tires!
An
all new tire for the Monogram Vintage stockers! More detail! This tire
really brings these cars to life! These will be sold in sets of 4 so
you can dump those ugly "square" tires. Your gonna love these.
New Ideal tires for the 1/24 "Rail" cars!
Scalextric tires for the Cooper and Ferrari F156! These are my new "sprueless" tire!
Scalextric tires for the Vanwall and Maseratti 250. These are also the new "sprueless" tire!
New tires for vintage Strombeckers using the 19/32 diameter(not measuring rib)wire style rim.
New tires for the vintage Strombecker indy/grand prix cars using the large ribbed rim.
These will all be released in the next two weeks.
Tires in the works are Motorific passenger and sports cars!
Drag slick for the Eldon small mag wheel.
Scalextric Tri-ang Gran Prix cars.
Palmer/Gilbert tires for the Indy/Gran Prix and Harness racing buggies!
Auto Art Jag C and Auto Art Union cars will also get new tires.
That's about for 2010 in the way of new tires.
Body kits are slowly coming together, The 64 Galaxie is back and the Willys will be returning soon.
Strombecker Midget parts will be coming in around Thanksgiving!
Finally!!! The first batch is already sold by back orders. So as soon
as the racks return they are going right back out full of new parts!!
Keep a watch out on the website!! And send your pictures of the cars
you've built using Tiny Motors body kits! People love seeing these and
send some great comments!
5/28/2010 News
is that my mom has good days and bad days. She is being well taken care
at home by the nice people at Hospice and us.
My dads eyesight still hasn't improved and he may lose the his right eye's vision.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words and understanding during this troubling and stressful time. Old news is that I am way behind. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to get things done.
I just finished a job that took way too long and way too much time but
it will be on it's way to the South Dakota this week.
People that have sent in tires for work. These are on the bench and the
prototype molds should be finished within the week and with blessings
the production tires will begin shipping around June 7th. I'm sorry
these are so late but things are quite hairy around here lately.
I'm planning on releasing a bunch of 1/32 body kits this coming fall.
These are quite expensive to prototype. So far prices will be in
the 30-40.00 range depending on the kit and features. Dragster
kits look to be holding at $75.00 when they are ready. Remember this
are complete kits, just assemble paint and run.
Have a nice Memorial weekend and remember to thank your local service men and women.
